I’m a photographer and a mother. I have two girls who make me all sorts of crazy, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything. They have taught me so much including how to be a better photographer. I’ve learned how important family is and why everyone should embrace whatever that looks like for them.

When I started this business it was so I could be home more with my kids, make my own hours so I don’t miss out on all the best things in life and do something that I enjoy. Lucky for me, it worked out. I get to do something I love and get paid for it.

We have a Mini Aussie who is just as crazy as the kids. Our lives wouldn’t be complete without a dog and I fully understand why families include them in sessions. I love when I get those requests.

I’m a summer person and feel like every winter is an apocalypse in the making. I definitely offer limited outdoor sessions during this time, but always love how gorgeous they turn out. We go camping every year (I am NOT the camping type, but the rest of my family is), we love to travel (although it never goes smoothly), I love flowers and trees, but panic over bugs, bunnies, snakes and birds (I think it’s because they don’t blink). My sense of humor comes in handy everyday and I wouldn’t be me without it! Laughter is literally the best. I wear yoga pants and have never done yoga, but do dabble in Pilates. I wish I could say that I’m good, but I have the sinking feeling that no matter how long you do it for, you still shake and struggle. That makes me laugh and makes it all worth while. I wear a lot of black, but love colour as you can tell by my images. I have a lip gloss obsession, enjoy Michael Bolton and Country Music, crave sushi, fave sport is dodgeball, hate getting wet, and have zero ability to do math. My text messages never make sense and it is 100% the phones fault. Oh and I’m a tad dramatic. I have a way of coming up with the most ridiculous outcomes and then stressing about them. I know it’s ridiculous, but can’t talk myself out of all the possibilities!

My goal as a photographer is to capture your family in an authentic way. All the faces, expressions, moods, craziness that I want to remember about my own family.
