Family Session :: The Favaretto’s

July 10, 2015

Sunset Sessions are full of gorgeous light and produce a glow you can’t ‘fake’ in post production. Oh Mother Nature how I love when you play nice.  Such a love/hate relationship we have! Ok so maybe it had a little to do with how adorable they are as a family. Combine the two and you get some insanely gorgeous family photos. So much so I want someone to do the same session for me.  Something about using a tripod and trying to get my daughter and husband to look at the same time that just isn’t the same.  We have tried multiple times and end up with some ridiculous outtakes.  Not so many ‘wall worthy’ images though.

Something about the glow in this type of session makes me want to do every shoot at this time of day.  Then again, the mosquitos are ridiculous in the evening.  No matter how much repellant I put on, how much swinging and swatting of the arms goes on I just can’t get out of a session without at least 10 bites.  Would it be crazy if I had an assistant who’s sole job was to protect me from those little ba#$%^&*????? They are like the flying monkeys in The Wizard of Oz but Mother Natures version.  UGH.  I knew she wasn’t actually cooperating. I really do try to see the best in everyone LOL.

Szames Family :: Sunset Session

May 21, 2015

This summers newest edition is the Sunset Sessions.  Yes it helps to have a sickeningly cute family but the golden glow that you get just before the sun goes down can turn your family photo into a beautiful piece of art. The light is warm which gives you those stunning images everyone wants.

It’s been a really long time since these guys had a family session.  Too long if you ask me! I tell clients they should do a family session at least once a year.  Everyone changes and grows (especially kids) so quickly that missing even one year can make a difference. Before you know it the kids are off to college and you don’t fit your skinny jeans anymore!  Oh the good old days.

I have a feeling these Sunset Sessions are going to a huge hit this summer.  Who doesn’t love the calm at the end of a day right before night.  Especially when it means the kids go to bed soon.  Not that any of us are watching the clock.
