I love the fact that Sandy is going to be a mom. She loves her nieces and nephews like her own so I can only image what this little one is going to feel. This baby not only has an amazing mom but a pretty cool dad.
When they asked if I would do their maternity shoot, it was an obvious answer. It’s the one thing I could offer them cause we all know I will NEVER change that child’s diaper. I will always be there to watch your baby, but you better hope it doesn’t have to go to the washroom. Then again my lovely assistant might come in handy. Speaking of which, I brought Terry along to be my assistant. To carry the balloons, hold my camera bag, and amuse Chris while we did some solo shots of Sandy. Apparently he didn’t read the assistants manual where it says stay out of the cameras view. You’ll see….Just keep scrolling. Needless to say he made us laugh. Nothing like a man lurking in the forest holding pink and blue balloons. Not sketchy at all. He wasn’t alone. Chris just couldn’t resist shoving a balloon up his shirt and pretending he was pregnant too. We’ve been friends for years so none of this comes as a surprise to us girls. However, the families in the park…. ya….you can image. AWKWARD!
If you are wondering why there are pink and blue balloons, they have decided to wait until the baby is born to find out whether it’s a boy or girl. So old school but so fantastic. My guess – a boy!
As we rounded the corner to head back to the car, we ran into a little girl who’s eyes just about popped out of her head at the sight of the balloons. Perfect ending to a perfect shoot. Can’t wait to meet your little one.
CONGRATULATIONS Sandy and Chris. Your pictures turned out spectacular and entertaining. I have heard that you have a brand new baby and I know you will make fabulous parents.
